  2. I've been watching Whale Wars on Animal Planet. This shows a negative view of Japanese Food culture and I've trying to use this site to balance my view of your culture.

    Japanese food culture is as old as humans eat here ... with ups and downs and changes as the time passes ...
    I try to present and see it with Japanese eyes, not my European concepts and prejudices ...

    I heard about Tokyo udo plant while watching the traveling kitchen show on TV Japan (here in America) featuring Iron Chef Sakai. I'm impressed that I was able to learn more about the plant by reading your blog.
